Vibration Analysis (VA), applied in an industrial or maintenance environment aims to reduce maintenance costs and equipment downtime by detecting equipment faults. VA is a key component of a Condition Monitoring (CM) program, and is often referred to as Predictive Maintenance (PdM). The process involves collection of vibration data in the field, either downloading the data into a computer and then analyzing the data or using the spectrum Analayzer in the field. A machine health report is then generated
CLIENT collects vibration data on a specified periodic interval monthly, sends to PSSL engineers to analyse and send the asset analytical report back to CLIENT management for actions to be undertaken. This option is mostly preferable in the beginning considering the time length it takes to develop capacity within the company.
PSSL to either station its own personnel in the plant or to collect data every month and submit detailed analytical report of findings
PSSL technician visits the plant and takes measurements and generates reports of findings
